Villasor is a large farming village in the Campidano along the Rio Mannu, inhabited since pre-nuragic times: at Crabai an extensive village of the Ozieri and Monte Claro cultures has been identified. Its most important monument is the Siviller castle, or fortified house, built in the 15th century by the Alagon family, one of the few fortified residences of the Aragonese period still standing in Sardinia. In the centre stands the Gothic-Aragonese parish church of San Biagio, built by the Alagon family in the 16th century, with its portal and imposing bell tower. The old centre keeps mud-brick houses with loggias. On 3 February the feast of San Biagio ends with the blessing with crossed candles and the distribution of the saint's bread.
