Ussaramanna is a small Marmilla village that grew from a Roman station on the road between Cagliari and Usellus and in the Middle Ages belonged to the Giudicato of Arborea. The four-lobed San Pietro nuraghe, now surrounded by the village houses, is the most interesting in an area that also has the Cabonu and Sirissi nuraghi. The village keeps houses with loggias on the courtyard and the 16th-century parish church of San Quirico, remodelled in Baroque style the following century. A regional herb show is held between April and May and draws many visitors, and the patron San Lorenzo is celebrated from 10 to 13 August.
