Baradili is one of Italy's smallest municipalities, with just over eighty people on five square kilometres of Marmilla hills. Probably Roman in origin, it belonged to the Giudicato of Arborea in the Middle Ages; merged with Baressa in 1927, it regained independence only in 1958.
Next to the ruins of the Candeu nuraghe flows a spring considered one of the best in the region, and along the Cilixia stream are traces of Roman baths. On the large main square stands the parish church of Santa Margherita.
