Setzu is one of Sardinia's smallest municipalities, in the Marmilla at the foot of the Giara di Gesturi, the basalt plateau of the wild ponies, with one of its most convenient access points. Its territory holds late Neolithic rock-cut tombs such as Sa Domu 'e S'Orcu and Grutta Sa Pedra, and several nuraghi. Its most important monument is the 13th-century Romanesque church of San Leonardo, whose square bell tower survives. Sant'Ignazio da Laconi is celebrated in August.
