Pauli Arbarei is a small Marmilla village founded beside a large marsh drained at the end of the 19th century, in an area inhabited without interruption until the early Middle Ages. Among its nuraghi stands out Bruncu Mannu, with a keep and two towers joined by a wall. The village has the 16th-century Renaissance parish church of San Vincenzo and the 13th-century Romanesque church of Sant'Agostino. On 22 January the feast of the patron San Vincenzo ends with a great bonfire of wood offered by the faithful.
