Torralba is a Meilogu village in the heart of the Valley of the Nuraghi, home to the Santu Antine nuraghe, one of Sardinia's largest and most spectacular: its central tower, still over seventeen metres high, is surrounded by a triangular bastion with three towers and inner corridors roofed with stone vaults. In the village the Museum of the Valley of the Nuraghi displays finds from Santu Antine and the area. The territory also holds dolmens, menhirs and rock-cut tombs. The old centre has palattu stone houses and the late Gothic parish church of San Pietro from 1616, and in the countryside stands the Romanesque church of Nostra Signora di Cabu Abbas.
