Mores is a Logudoro village of Punic-Roman origin between Ozieri and Bonorva. Its territory holds the Sa Coveccada dolmen, considered the largest in Sardinia and one of the most imposing in the Mediterranean: a great chamber of trachyte slabs roofed by a single huge stone. On Monte Lachesos the San Marco cave holds an Ozieri-culture burial. In the village the parish church of Santa Caterina, begun in 1630, has a tall bell tower, and there is also the 17th-century church of Sant'Antonio da Padova.
