Sorradile is a Barigadu village overlooking Lake Omodeo, medieval in origin in the Giudicato of Arborea. In a rocky gorge lies one of the island's largest Neolithic necropolises, with over forty rock-cut tombs of varied shape, and the area holds the nuragic sanctuary of Su Monte, with a well temple, and many nuraghi. The old centre has multi-storey stone houses with doors and windows decorated by local stonemasons. In mid-January the feasts of Sant'Antonio Abate and the patron San Sebastiano end with great bonfires, whose flames are read for omens of the harvest.
