Siris is one of Sardinia's smallest municipalities, in the Alta Marmilla at the foot of Monte Arci, in an area inhabited from the early Neolithic to Roman times. The Procilis nuraghe has yielded much worked obsidian and Roman objects, showing it was used until the 3rd century AD. The village keeps stone houses with gateways onto courtyards. The patron San Sebastiano is celebrated on 20 January, and the feast of San Vincenzo on 1 September lasts three days.
