Morgongiori is an Alta Marmilla village on the southern slopes of Monte Arci, at over 350 metres, founded in the Middle Ages in the Giudicato of Arborea, whose representatives took part in the 1388 peace of Sanluri. It is known for weaving rugs and tapestries with traditional motifs. Its territory holds an unusual monument, the rock-cut underground temple of Sa Grutta de is Caombus, along with the Su Furru de Luxia Arrabiosa rock-cut tombs, a menhir and a few nuraghi. The feast of Santa Suia, organised by the shepherds' brotherhood, takes place in several stages between April and July.
