Masullas

Masullas is a municipality in the Province of Oristano with about 1,129 inhabitants, 129 metres above sea level.

Masullas is an Alta Marmilla village at the foot of Monte Arci, Roman in origin, with a surprising cultural heritage for its size: the parish church of the Madonna delle Grazie, known as the Gloriosa, the 14th-century church of Santa Lucia, and a Capuchin convent housing a museum on knights and local history, plus a geology museum on Monte Arci. The area has many nuraghi. Sa Gloriosa is celebrated on 2 July, and at the emigrants' feast in August people enjoy carapigna, lemon ice made the traditional way.
