Sini is a small Marmilla village at the foot of the Giara di Gesturi, medieval in origin in the Giudicato of Arborea, in an area with several nuraghi. The village has the 17th-century parish church of Santa Chiara, and just outside, on a height overlooking the countryside, stands the little church of San Giorgio. San Giorgio is celebrated on 23 April, when families bake pane 'e saba, the sweet made with cooked grape must, sold to fund the chapel's upkeep.
