Gonnosnò is a small Alta Marmilla village of Roman origin, which grew as a minor centre beside ancient Usellus and now includes the hamlet of Figu. Its old centre keeps courtyard stone houses with large, sometimes very elegant, gateways, and the parish church of San Basilio Magno, where the patron is celebrated on 1 January. The area has several nuraghi and, near San Salvatore di Figu, the Sas Lapideddas giants' tombs and a well temple.
