Segariu is a small village between the Marmilla and the Trexenta, early medieval in origin, probably grown around a community of Byzantine monks. Its territory has rock-cut tombs, including those of Sa Gisterra, and a few nuraghi. The village has the 17th-century parish church of San Giorgio, late Gothic with Renaissance touches, and near a nuraghe stands the area's oldest church, dedicated to Sant'Antonio.
