Sadali

Sadali is a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari with about 918 inhabitants, 705 metres above sea level.

Sadali is a Barbagia di Seulo village at over seven hundred metres among the limestone tacchi and woods of the Sarcidano. It is the village of water: in its old centre the San Valentino waterfall plunges between the houses and vanishes into a cave, and the Funtana Manna spring flows beside the small Byzantine church of Sant'Elena. The village has the 15th-century parish church of San Valentino. Nearby is the Is Janas cave, with stalactites and formations, and a few kilometres away, in Seulo's territory, Su Stampu 'e Su Turrunu, where a stream disappears into a sinkhole. On 2 and 3 June the feast of Santa Maria d'Itria carries the statue in procession to the country church, with a great banquet.
