Seulo is the village that gives its name to the Barbagia di Seulo, at almost eight hundred metres between the mountains of the southern Gennargentu and the Flumendosa valley. It is known for the remarkable longevity of its people and has been cited as one of the places with the most centenarians in the world. Its territory holds Su Stampu 'e Su Turrunu, a waterfall plunging into a karst sinkhole with a small pool, the Su Longu Fresu cave, and the rock-cut tombs and nuragic village of Ticci. The village has the 16th-century parish church of the Beata Vergine Immacolata. On the third Sunday of May the feast of Saints Cosma and Damiano carries their statues in procession to the country chapel to the singing of gosos.
