Romana is a small Meilogu village on the border with the Villanova area, medieval in origin in the Giudicato of Torres, in an area with rock-cut tombs and many nuraghi. Its old centre has the 16th-century late Gothic parish church of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the church of Santa Croce from the same period. The most heartfelt feast is San Lussorio, opening with a prayer vigil on the night of 20 August and continuing on the 21st.
