Senorbì is the main town of the Trexenta, the fertile hill country north of Cagliari, of which it was already the chief town in the Middle Ages. Its territory was inhabited without interruption from pre-nuragic to Roman times: at Monte Luna lies a large Punic necropolis, and the village of Corte Auda has yielded much ancient pottery. The finds are shown in the Sa Domu Nosta Museum, housed in a manor house. In town are the Gothic-Catalan parish church of Santa Barbara on the large square and, on a hill, the 13th-century chapel of Santa Mariedda. Senorbì's Carnival ends with the big bean feast, and an international folk festival is held at the end of July.
