San Basilio is a small Trexenta village at over four hundred metres, built on a Roman settlement followed in the Middle Ages by a community of Byzantine monks. From the Roman period remain the ruins of a 1st-century AD bath complex. In the old centre courtyards close behind large gateways, with multi-storey stone houses. The parish church of San Pietro is late Gothic, from the 16th-17th centuries, and on the outskirts stands the church of San Basilio, the former parish church. On 19 and 20 January the feast of San Sebastiano ends with the bonfire, su fogadoni.
