Sedilo is a Guilcier village overlooking Lake Omodeo, famous throughout Sardinia for S'Ardia, the wild horse race that on 6 and 7 July gallops around the sanctuary of San Costantino on the hill above the lake, in honour of the saintly emperor venerated by the Sardinian people. It is one of the island's most spectacular and ancient feasts. Its territory is very rich in monuments: the Iloi complex, with a nuraghe, village, giants' tombs and rock-cut tombs, and other prehistoric necropolises. In the village stand the Gothic-Aragonese parish church of San Giovanni Battista and the church of San Basilio e San Giacomo.
