San Nicolò d'Arcidano

San Nicolò d'Arcidano is a municipality in the Province of Oristano with about 2,811 inhabitants, 13 metres above sea level.

San Nicolò d'Arcidano is a village between the Oristano Campidano and the Medio Campidano, on the edge of the Marceddì lagoon, medieval in origin in the Giudicato of Arborea, in an area with several nuraghi; it was a hamlet of Terralba until 1946. The parish church of San Nicolò was built in the mid-19th century. Feasts are held in July for Santa Margherita and on 10 September for the patron San Nicolò, and in May a group bike ride recalls the cycling outings of the past. The Marceddì coast and the Gulf of Oristano are a few kilometres away.
