Narbolia is a village between the Montiferru and the Sinis whose territory reaches the sea with the great pinewood and beach of Is Arenas, one of the longest on the west coast. In the Middle Ages it was called Nurapulia and was a fortified village of the Giudicato of Arborea. The old centre has bare-stone houses and the parish church of Santa Reparata, Romanesque from the 13th century and later altered. The area is rich in nuraghi, and on the third Sunday of May Santa Caterina is celebrated at her chapel.
