Laerru is a small Anglona village of probable Byzantine origin, among hills and valleys a few kilometres from Perfugas. Its territory has remains from prehistory to Roman times, notably the Bopitos collective tomb, with many rock-cut tombs and the remains of a multi-tower nuraghe with its village. The village has the 16th-century late-Gothic parish church of Santa Margherita, and the patron's feast, culminating on 20 July, lasts three days.
