Busachi is a Barigadu village among hills and deep valleys, probably Roman in origin, on the old road that climbed the Tirso from Cagliari towards Porto Torres. It is famous for its women's costume, one of Sardinia's most elegant, with a linen bonnet, and for traditional linen working. In the upper part of the village stand the town hall and the 16th-century Gothic-Aragonese church of San Domenico, with the church of Sant'Antonio da Padova nearby. Feasts in June and August feature processions and dancing in costume.
