Perdaxius

Perdaxius is a municipality in the Province of Sulcis Iglesiente with about 1,475 inhabitants, 98 metres above sea level.

Perdaxius is a small inland Sulcis village of medieval origin that grew in the 19th and 20th centuries partly thanks to nearby lead mines; for a time it was a hamlet of Narcao. The area is rich in nuraghi, the most interesting being the large multi-towered Camboni nuraghe near the village. The village has the 13th-century Romanesque church of San Giacomo.
