Ossi is a Coros village a few kilometres from Sassari, in an area inhabited without interruption from prehistory to Roman times. Its treasure is the S'Adde Asile necropolis and above all that of Mesu 'e Montes, with carved and painted rock-cut tombs, including one with eleven rooms; the Ena 'e Muros tomb belongs to the same period. The old centre keeps its traditional layout with the 17th-century parish church of San Bartolomeo. On the edge of a cliff stands the church of Santa Vittoria, while Sant'Antonio was probably the church of Briave, a village abandoned in the 16th century.
