Musei is a small Cixerri village between Iglesias and Siliqua, Roman in origin: at Arruinalis foundations of buildings with stones joined by lead bars, coins and pottery have been found. In the 17th century the village was a fief of the Jesuits, who ran a large farm here. From that period survive the 18th-century parish church of Sant'Ignazio di Loyola and, beside it, the Jesuits' House, the order's administrative centre. On Easter Monday San Lussorio is celebrated with a procession, dancing and free wine and sweets.
