Ollastra

Ollastra is a municipality in the Province of Oristano with about 1,255 inhabitants, 23 metres above sea level.

Ollastra is a small village in the Oristano Campidano, Roman in origin, on the old road from Cagliari to Porto Torres. Its old centre has narrow winding lanes between typical mud-brick houses with loggias and big courtyards behind high walls, all converging on the parish church of San Sebastiano. The area has several nuraghi. In April the feast of San Marco comes with a livestock fair, and on 7 July San Costantino is celebrated at the country chapel.
