Flussio is a small Planargia village on sunny hills facing the sea at Bosa, with a mild climate suited to olives and Malvasia vines. In the Middle Ages it passed to the Malaspina, who ruled the area from Bosa castle. Flussio is famous for its asphodel baskets, hand-woven by the women in a still-living tradition. In the village are the parish church of Santa Maria della Neve and the ruins of the 12th-century Romanesque church of San Bartolomeo, dedicated to the patron celebrated on 24 August.
